Wasinga Project 2014

We connected together in the woods, where we listened, danced, participated, built, learnt, sang, played, hunted, cooked, inspired others and became inspired ourselves. On Thursday, we welcomed the new Wasingi! On Sunday, our tribe dispersed once again.

The forest was alive and you brought your amazing talents. This year we continued the experiment with powerful tribal rituals and initiations, forest foraging and hunting forays, stimulating intellectual and factual talks, powerful group and personal workshops, music, choirs, comedy, drama, the Fool Officer shenanigans, the Wasinga Band, Night of the Stars – musical comedy cabaret revue, DJ’s, drumming, sweat lodges, silent disco, film screenings presented by the directors, story-telling, acoustic performers and dancing every day and into the night.

A beautiful gathering, with inspiring energy, insight and inspiration from the people, and the forest.
