Re-divining the Feminine: A Walk on the Wild Side

“The wilderness has answers to more questions than we have yet learned to ask”

The forest beckons, do you hear it’s call?

We have been living in an era in which we’ve had a deep mistrust and fear of what is wild, both within, and without. We have tried to fight it, to tame it, to neatly manicure and sterilise it.

The land that we have the blessing to call home, is a very special place. It’s gentle summoning invites us to listen!

What questions will the wilderness reveal to us? What tales do the trees have to tell? What ancient wisdom of our elders do they carry? What secrets do the elements offer, the seasons and the cycles of the moon and womb? As we allow ourselves to drop in to gentle communion with life within and around us, what can we learn about interconnection, about balance?

The concept of the earth or Gaia as feminine – ‘Magna Matera’  – is perhaps as old as self-awareness itself, and perhaps it is no coincidence that both the wild and the feminine share a history of subjugation and suppression.

As our tribe comes together for this years gathering, we invite all of you to a celebration and exploration of the feminine and the manifestation of her different faces and archetypes, in all her wildness and untamed expression.

Beyond gender, we wish to explore her as an energetic principle, present in all of us, entwined in a sacred dance with our masculine. In a world in which both these two polarities have been so corrupted and embedded in shadow and conflict, what does a manifestation of their reconciliation look like?

We invited you in all your playfulness and curiosity to come and find out… and we did 🙂
